Brenda made my costume for the 2018 Us Open Swing Dance Championships.  I've been competing at The Open for over 20 years, and Brenda by far has been the easiest, most professional, and reliable costume designer I have ever worked with.  I highly recommend her.

Brenda Tollett is awesome to work with.  Her communication is amazing, great work ethic, and she gets her projects done on time.  She makes sure that you approve all work with each step of the process.  She is a great seamstress and a gifted designer - I cannot say enough about working with her.  She has earned my business and my loyalty.

Example: in 2015, I was in dire need of a costume for the US Open Swing Dance Championships at the end of November.  My costume person fell through and I panicked.  I found out about Brenda through a friend and we happened to be at the same dance event in October.  She took my measurements at that event and I had a costume within days.  It fit perfect the first time (only minor adjustments) and the experience was GREAT!!

PS.  I needed her to make me a blue jean 3/4 sleeve jacket for a rock routine.  I sent her the material - 2 pairs of womens blue jeans!!  She cut them up and made the most awesome jacket - WHAT???!!!   Blew my mind. 

I have worked with Beat Designs on several different costumes.  I had a basic idea for a Showdance costume that required some creative insight and Brenda made the idea come alive.  Her unique solutions to our idea came out fabulous.  The final fitting made the costumes fit perfectly.

Brenda has also created several "standard" dance shirts for me and each has come out even better than my original ideas.  If you are looking for a costume (especially a unique one), Beat Designs comes highly recommended from me!!

Beat Designs came through for me in a pinch when we were about 3 weeks away from performing, and my previous costume designer hadn't started costumes.  I sent Brenda a quick request to see if she was available along with my ideas and song choice for our West Coast Swing ProAm dance routine.  She got me a design within 2 days and it was exactly as I had pictured.  It flows perfectly, and the fabric is amazing. 

I have already recommended her and  Beat Designs to other dance routine performers.  Beat Designs is highly professional, accommodating, and so creative!  Their costumes always look wonderful on the floor!

Brenda and Beat Designs were amazing to work with.  I hired her to make me a costume for my main character in a pilot tv show we are pitching to Netflix.  I had nothing in mind but a loose concept.  Not only did she give me her creative insight and ideas, she understood exactly what I wanted.  The costume has been incredibly durable (made it through a year of filming outside in Florida so far), and is BETTER than had hoped it would be.  The body armor is light and realistic and can easily be worn for hours at a time.  I cannot recommend Beat Designs enough. 

Beat Designs is one of the best costume designers we have ever worked with.  They listen to ideas and come up with sketches to match those ideas. Sketches are sent in a timely manner; changes are made based off customers thoughts immediately.  Customer input is huge with the designer.  Costumes are made to perfection.  We have used Beat Design’s twice now and have been so happy with each costume.  If something, such as measurements, are not right they are very willing to make it right.  Beat Designs really wants to make the customer happy and they have done that for us.  We love our costumes and the price is very good.  We will not use another designer for costumes.  A++++++ rating in customer services, timeliness, price and fast shipping!  Highly recommended!

Brenda is great!!  She made my dream wedding dress come to life.  I had a vision in m mid but couldn't find exactly what I was looking for.  Brenda was able to draw up exactly what I had in my head.  She was conscious of how the fabric would lay and wear given the beach environment of our wedding, the way the dress would flow, and how it would photograph.  She has such a knack for detail.  I had 2 quick fittings and my perfect dress was complete.  The price was so reasonable and Beat Designs is such a joy to work with - and her skill behind a sewing machine is like no other.
